Happy Birthday King Jesus. Yours is the Kingdom & the glory forever !
Monday December 25th, 2023
« Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain »
20 The Father loves the Son and has shown Him everything He does. The Father will show Him even greater things, and you will be amazed.
21 Just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so the Son gives life to anyone He wants to.
22 The Father doesn’t judge anyone, but He has made His Son the judge of everyone.
23 The Father wants all people to honor the Son as much as they honor Him. When anyone refuses to honor the Son, that is the same as refusing to honor the Father who sent Him.
24 I tell you for certain that everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent Me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life.
25 I tell you for certain that the time will come, and it is already here, when all of the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen to it will live!
26 The Father has the power to give life, and He has given that same power to the Son.
27 And He has given his Son the right to judge everyone, because He is the Son of Man.
28 Don’t be surprised! The time will come when all of the dead will hear the voice of the Son of Man,
29 and they will come out of their graves. Everyone who has done good things will rise to life, but everyone who has done evil things will rise and be condemned.
« I, the LORD, never change. That is why you descendants of Jacob haven’t been destroyed yet. »
The statement above was made by God the Father and is representative of the entire God-head.
We live in very dynamic times, and this could make the future frightening, but there is hope for those who have faith in the Unchanging Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Everything can change but God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit will never change; neither will His standards. Luke 16:17 CSB
« But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter in the law to drop out. »
In Mark 10:11-12 NKJV, He said to those who are going into marriage
«……. So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery »
When the Pharisees attempted to justify divorce from the point of view of the Law of Moses, Jesus said in Matthew 19:4, 8 NKJV:
« Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female… “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. »
Whoever decides to flout this divine arrangement does so to his or her own peril, even though the consequence may not be immediate.
Reuben slept with his stepmother but the consequence surfaced after many decades when he should have received blessings form his father (Genesis 49:4).
May those things that we regard as inconsequential not prevent us from entering into the Kingdom of God in the mighty name of Jesus.
God’s standard does not change. Remember,
« Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever »
(Hebrews 13:8).
Prayer focus – Father, please build up my faith in the unchanging Christ.
