Memorize: John 14:2b-3

« I, Jesus, am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. »

Read: Revelation 21:1-7, Revelation 22:3-5

After the final judgment, John saw a new heaven and a new earth. He saw the Holy City coming down from above—prepared and ready—like a bride, ready to meet her husband.

Now God will live with His people and be their God.

He will wipe away every tear and there will be no more death or sadness, crying or pain. The old things have disappeared!

Then God said, “See, I make all things new. Those who keep on going till the end will have the right to freely drink living water from the spring of Life.”

The throne of God and the throne of Jesus the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship and serve Him there and His name will be written on their brows.

What will Heaven be like?

Do you sometimes wonder what it will be like in heaven one day? It is hard for us to imagine how beautiful heaven is because we can only see and experience things with our physical bodies.

What John saw was so wonderful that he couldn’t describe it in words. The best he could do was to compare what he saw to things here on earth.

What we do know is that God will make everything new. There will be no bad memories or regrets, the devil will not be able to tempt us or make our lives miserable and there will be no more tears or sadness.

There will be so much to do in Heaven that you won’t be bored for a single moment.

You won’t even need to go to bed because there will be no night.

In heaven there will be unimaginable joy as we serve and worship our wonderful God for ever and ever.
