« Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful »
22 Now you see how Abraham’s faith and deeds worked together. He proved that his faith was real by what he did.
23 This is what the Scriptures mean by saying, “Abraham had faith in God, and God was pleased with him.” That’s how Abraham became God’s friend.
24 You can now see that we please God by what we do and not only by what we believe.
25 For example, Rahab had been a prostitute. But she pleased God when she welcomed the spies and sent them home by another way.
I believe everyone desires all-round success but do we all know the condition required to get it ? Psalm 1:2-3 GNT says
« Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night. They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. They succeed in everything they do »
- According to the text above, the condition for complete success is living by the book of the law which is the word of God.
This is why God asked Joshua to get acquainted with it (Joshua 1:8).
Today, it is painful that many children of God have abused grace so much that the Law of God does not matter to them anymore.
This is a deception of the devil.
- To succeed, you must be wise because foolishness leads to failure (Proverbs 14:24).
- If you would be wise, you must be Bible-compliant (2 Timothy 3:16).
There is no negotiation; Gods word is the surest way to all round success. James 1:25NLT says
« But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it »
It was through the word of God in Malachi 3:10 that I discovered why my salary was not enough for me because I was not paying my tithe.
It was the word of God that taught me to take care of my flock as a Pastor.
For many years as the General Overseer I had to stay at the Headquarters, building the source before launching into other parts of the world.
Even now, the word of God teaches me that it is not over until it is over.
The secrets of all-round success are inexhaustible in the word of God.
Beloved, read, study, meditate, hear and live by the word of God and from now, you will begin to experience all-round success.
Application – Make the Bible your surest guide and final judge in all of life’s matters.
