KEEP PUSHING

57 As they were walking along, someone said to Jesus, “I will follow you wherever you go.”

58 But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay His head.”

59 He said to another person, “Come, follow me.” The man agreed, but he said, “Lord, first let me return home and bury my father.”

60 But Jesus told him, “Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead! Your duty is to go and preach about the Kingdom of God.”

61 Another said, “Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but first let me say good-bye to my family.”

62 But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”

During natural childbirth, a woman is required to push the baby out.

No matter how many times she pushes, until the baby comes out, she must keep pushing.

The moment she gives the final push that brings the baby out, she becomes a new person – a mother.

As a Christian, you will never be done pushing until you have put on a new body in Christ.

  • No matter how much you have achieved in the past, you must keep pushing until you see the Lord in glory, Philippians 3:13-14.

Many people started out right; they achieved many great things for God, but as time went on, they stopped pushing.

They stopped fasting and praying as they used to, and they missed the glory that would have been theirs.

Beloved, it doesn’t matter how much you have done for God; if you give up now, you will miss your crown.

Don’t let the pleasures of this life distract you;

don’t let the lure of sin take you out of the way of righteousness.

  • Keep pushing by praying, studying your Bible, fasting, attending fellowships, and living holy.

Do not be weary in well doing Galatians 6:9.

In Philippians 3:13CEV, Apostle Paul said

Forget the things you have achieved in the past; they are not as important as the things you must do for God in the future.

I pray that you keep soaring on to the end, in Jesus name.

Prayer focus – Father, please keep me standing until I see You in glory.
