ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I

1A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”

So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”

Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few.

And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”

So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.

Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

I have seen people experience challenges and they just keep struggling through them.

They somehow find a way to survive as the challenge lingers.

For such people, usually, a day will come when they will say “Enough is enough”.

That day came for the widow in the Bible reading for today when her creditors said they were coming to take her sons.

Before then, the creditors must have been disturbing her and the prophet who had the solution to her problem had also been there, but she kept quiet and was just struggling with the situation.

On that fateful day, she must have said to herself, “Enough is enough” then cried to the Prophet for help and it came.

The day you decide to stop accommodating that problem, it will leave you alone; if you keep struggling with it, however, God will fold His hands and watch you.

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of the level that am on now; I want to move forward.

Oh yes, I have achieved some success and I am grateful to God, but I am not yet where I want to be.

Are you okay with being in the same spot for so long?

Do you want to continue ‘managing’ or do you want to break loose from the bondage of the enemy and fly?

It is up to you.

If you want to move forward, then pray the prayer point for today with great spiritual aggression.

Prayer focus –  Today, I say enough is enough of (mention the problem you are tired of) and I decree that this problem cases Immediately in Jesus’ name.
